I am Nadim Ahmed, currently serving as a lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Islamic University of Technology, OIC. Prior to this, I held positions as a lecturer at both Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and Green University of Bangladesh. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with first class honours from Islamic University of Technology in December 2019.
Throughout my career, I have developed a profound passion for teaching. My top priority is making sure my students enjoy learning and find it intellectually stimulating. It is incredibly rewarding to see them thrive in the process. In addition to my role as a lecturer, I create online lecture videos to help students grasp complex electrical and electronic engineering concepts.
During my undergrad, I became fascinated with robotics. In my leisure time, I enjoy building robotic systems and working on engineering projects. I believe that these experiences have significantly influenced my research interests. In my academic pursuits, I focus on areas such as Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Biomimetic Robotics, and Embedded and FPGA-based System Design. I am currently involved in research as a member of the IUT Robotics, AI and Vision (IRAIV) Lab, where we seek AI-based solutions to real-world engineering challenges.
